In this SONG PK lesson series, we’ll focus on groove, rhythm, and syncopation. This is a riff-driven song in the key of E and has several great twists to expand your skills and deepen your ability to play in the pocket!

In this lesson series, we will learn to play Leaving It All Behind. Please see the attached Tab, Guitar Pro file, and MP3 support materials. The tab has a timestamp at the top of each page for quick reference when locating sections of the video that you are working on.

I’m adding a new section to the Blues Rock Pedal Board section on building the perfect home studio environment. Due to the pandemic– now if the ideal time to be creative with your time and space! Be sure to check out this video series for new ideas for capturing your sound in the studio, create ambiance in your studio, and add some gaming effects to your practice space!
TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THE CHANNEL
1) Whether you are a beginner or intermediate student, if you’re new to the channel— please work your way through the “Quick Start Guide Parts 1 – 4.”
2) After you’ve worked through those videos, there is a series titled “Building a Strong Blues Foundation,” which will give beginners an eight-week road map for learning how to play. This series is also excellent for intermediate students that need to fill in any holes that you might have in your understanding!
3) Explore the SONG PK Section and learn to play any song that you like. With the materials covered in the Quick Start Guide and Building a Strong Blues Foundation— you’ll be set to dive in!
Be sure to share any videos of you playing and ask any questions that you may have in the forum! When students share, it helps me to know where to place focus on each month’s lesson materials. If you need a private lesson or want to work one-on-one, you can always sign up for more as you need it!
