This month, we kick off WHAT’S NEW from the Cutting Edge w/ Kelly Richey – FEBRUARY 2022, with more NEW Backing Tracks!!! This month we continue our journey as we focus on becoming a powerful rhythm guitarist and develop our ability to solo in all the the main Keys– A, B, C, D, E, F, G.
FOCUS MATERIAL FOR FEBRUARY 2022!
1) I’ve added a 10 part video series on how to play 12 Bar Blues with backing tracks! In this series I define what 12 Bard Blues is, what a 1, 4, 5 progression is, the common chords used in 12 Bar Blues and their substitutions, minor pentatonics, and lead soloing concepts. I map out best practices for playing with guitar backing tracks. The video uses the Guitar Backing Track – “12 Bar Slow Blues – Ky of A.”
This 10 part series is located in the “Backing Tracks” section, and the folder in this section is titled – “Tips for Playing w/ Backing Tracks (12 Bar Slow Blues – Soloing Tips).”
